I went back to one our first CD's for my card this week - Candy Doodles. I love the little planes, trucks and cars that are in the boys section of the CD and did some paper piecing with them. I've made the card for a friends son who is 2 in August.

I always make a card for my husband on Fathers Day and as we off on a cycling holiday this year, I made this the theme for my card. I used a bicycle template and cut out the pieces to make a rather rickety bike, used papers from the Not for Girls CD and some string. I’m a bit late posting as I didn’t want my hubby to see it until today.
Materials used – A6 white card blank, Papers and elements Not for Girls CD, Versamagic chalk inks, Black gel pen and String.

We are off to visit my hubbies Aunty Vi today for her 90th birthday tea. I wanted to make her something vintage looking and really wanted to have a go at making these flowers over at Creations with Christina. I used chalk ink spritzed with a little water and large half pearls instead as I didn’t have what Christina used. I was really pleased how they turned out. Have a go as they are great fun to make.
Materials used – Cream cardstock, Cricut plus Wild Card, George and Basic Shapes and Paisley cartridges ,K&Co Roam Mat pad, Versamagic red chalk ink, Woodware Sentiments clear stamps, Rub-ons, Half Pearls and Lace ribbon.
